Honoring Compassion Through Community: Norton Pelt Sponsors The Ilona Foundation’s Inaugural Golf Tournament
On June 4, 2025, Norton Pelt had the privilege of participating in The Ilona Foundation’s First Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the picturesque Augustine Golf Club in Stafford, Virginia. It was a beautiful day, and our Norton Pelt team enjoyed their time on the course, playing several strokes under par and losing a very reasonable number of golf balls in the woods.
As a Silver Sponsor, we proudly supported the event by sponsoring a hole and the “Closest to the Pin” competition. All proceeds from the tournament, including our contributions and golfers’ fees, directly benefit The Ilona Foundation’s mission to provide compassionate support to individuals and families navigating grief and loss.
A Mission Close to Our Hearts
The Ilona Foundation was established to honor the life and memory of Ilona Bailey, a compassionate nurse whose untimely passing in 2022 deeply affected everyone who knew her. The Foundation offers resources, training, and support to those grieving the loss of a loved one. This cause holds special significance for our firm, as Ilona was the girlfriend of our associate, Jeremiah Both. Her legacy of empathy and service continues to inspire us, and we’re honored to support an organization that embodies her spirit, one with her hope firmly grounded in Christ.
Looking Ahead
The funds raised from the tournament will aid in continuing to support the mission of the Foundation, primarily in reaching their goal of launching a new Christian Counseling Center in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area, providing licensed, faith-based counseling to those in need.
